Case Studies
Case Study #1
Problem/Situation:
My client was working on a nationwide experimental marketing campaign that was to run over a 6 week period, in multiple locations through the US.
Solution:
I worked with my client to help manage the wide range of tasks necessary to pull off the campaign. I was a contact with her clients—I scheduled the meetings, sent reminders and follow-ups. I also made sure nothing fell through the cracks, serving as a vendor liaison and handling all contracts, invoices, freight information, etc. I tracked everything, was able to quickly and easily answer questions when needed and forwarded all of the information to the respective responsible parties. I helped to keep track of the budget and placed orders for equipment and supplies. I also handled the payroll coordination for all employees hired for the project.
Results:
The marketing campaign was incredibly successful. My client’s customer was extremely pleased with the outcome and the entire process, and my client’s company has been nominated for an award for this specific campaign. We look forward to working with the client again in 2009.
Case Study #2
Problem/Situation:
A client whose business was managing a group of motivational speakers was overwhelmed with email inquiries for her speaking clients and trying to keep up with the other details of running and growing her business. She needed an in-office assistant, in addition to having a VA.
Solution:
I quickly learned how the client preferred communication regarding the email inquiries and schedules of her speaker clients. I became familiar with the speakers, their speaking topics, their terms/fees and schedules. I was able to respond to initial email inquiries and add to the calendar, as well as follow up with the inquiries until it was time for my client to step in. I also assisted the client with hiring an in-office assistant by performing the initial screening process and reviewing all resumes and cover letters. I provided feedback about the candidates and scheduled initial and follow up interviews. Once the assistant was hired I educated her on the process I had developed for the email inquiry response and scheduling processes.
Results:
My client, the in-office assistant and I are all working together as a fabulous team. The assistant and I cover the front lines and weed out the inquiries that do not need to take up my client’s valuable time. She is able to spend time where it’s needed to grow the business—and has recently added a new speaker.
Case Study #3
Problems/Situation:
A client wanted to offer a teleconference that would run for 6 weeks. It was a first-time initiative and needed details in order and process in place.
Solution:
I took care of researching service options for the teleconference. I outlined benefits and drawbacks for each option and presented the information to the client. I then set up the account, tested the system, went over the options and processes with the client and scheduled the calls. I also handled all communication with class participants including providing class/call information, reminders, follow ups and helped answer questions. During the teleconference call we helped manage settings and handled recording of the call.
Results:
The client had very pleased participants and I gained valuable experience with the teleconference service.
