Sassy Circle

What will you gain when you live? Join me for 8 weeks beginning Friday, October 21st - The Sassy Circle.

jessica riesenbeck - sassy circleAfter listening to friends and hearing myself struggle with finding the balance in our everyday lives, I wanted to create a group for moms, one that addressed these struggles and one that I would be excited to be a part of.  The group I’ve created is a local group called The Sassy Circle.

The Sassy Circle is for those of you who feel as I have felt and still do feel sometimes; like you’ve lost yourself- your sass, with the constant, ongoing craziness of every day life.  And, I wanted to do this before the holiday season, so that we can all enjoy ourselves a bit more, smile and feel sassy!

While talking with a close friend she mentioned that someone recently told her balance doesn’t exist- that struck a cord.  I couldn’t agree more and I think that is why we struggle-we’re constantly trying to find the elusive balance, rather than come up with ways to manage what we deal with on a daily basis.  And, in the struggle we slowly lose or forget what we enjoy, what makes us happy and what allows us to be happy when it comes to the lives we’ve created.  We’ve lost our sass.

If you’re like me, you set your intentions to eat healthy, exercise, enjoy the time you’re with your family and imagine being so happy-enjoying life to its fullest every day.  Then reality hits-you snooze your alarm for 45 minutes each morning, you grab fast food or eat out because you don’t have the time or want to make dinner between errands, you gripe at all you HAVE to do for your family, you complain and feel exhausted the majority of the time.  Each night when you go to bed you mentally flip back through the day, feeling guilty, overwhelmed, sad and ready to turn over a new leaf in the morning.

I am tired of feeling this way.  I want to smile and laugh.  I want people to listen to me talk and say “I want some of what she’s having.”  I’ve been told many times that I’m funny and fun to be around, but I don’t feel that way. I sometimes feel like I’ve lost that funny, fun woman I was. Or, at least I had lost that woman-she’s slowly coming back.  I’m doing little things here and there that allow me to feel funny, fun, free, sexy, happy and sassy. And, when I feel this way it reflects in everything I do.  I more easily manage the every day craziness, the errands, the time with my family.  I go to bed reflecting on the day with a smile and a light, happy heart.

These moments of feeling sassy and enjoying life are happening a little more often, but I still have work to do. As a Life Coach I have a wealth of tips and fun activities to help you and me find a way to manage-that also allows us time for ourselves and to enjoy what we’re doing instead of resenting it or just going through the motions.

In The Sassy Circle you will:

  • Be reminded or made aware of the qualities that make you unique and loved for who you are.
  • Learn how to pay attention to what your true self wants when it comes to tasks and errands, and how to manage them in a way that feels good to you.
  • Create a realistic vision of your future self- as a woman, a wife, a mom, a friend….loving who you are, being happy and enjoying your crazy schedule.
